My Muse
I've always used the Christmas break to evaluate where I am and what I want for the coming year. Many of us make New Year Resolutions, and most people forget them within a few days or weeks. If you want to create success for yourself here are some tips:
Have 3 goals. No more and no less. It is my experience that 3 is the perfect number. If you have more than three, pick three to start with and when you achieve one, replace that one with number four. So that you have three to concentrate on at any one time.
Make the goals challenging. Really stretch yourself. Be prepared to risk big time. This is not the same as being reckless. But sometimes in order to create a new level of success we need to 'give up' what we have. We need to give up before we gain the new success, but most of us are too busy clinging on to what we have to grasp new opportunities.
Be open to new opportunities. Often opportunities come to us, disguised, camouflaged, dressed up as problems. Raise your awareness to see what options are opening up to you.
Write your goals down. Read them back and ask yourself: Will the attainment of this goal, and the pursuit of it make me happy? If the answer is yes, you have an effective goal, one that will motivate you to do what you need to do each day towards it's attainment. If you cannot answer yes honestly, before you throw out the goal, see if it needs some fine tuning. What would need to be different for the goal to make me happy?
Finally, spend some time in peace and quiet contemplating the achievement of your goals. What difference would they make to your life? How would you feel? How would your loved ones feel? Don't skimp on this bit, enjoy it! It will really embed the motivation in you.
Wouldn't it be great, really great, if this year, your resolutions came true? And there is no reason why they can't, if you want them enough and you use a system to ensure your success!
My News
I've enjoyed a busy month, lots of speaking and coaching and promoting my book. I would really appreciate your feedback on my book, and if you want to write me a testimonial I will put it on the website and maybe on the cover of a future print run! Can I also request your feedback on another subject. My website has been getting an increasing number of visits, which is great, but not a corresponding number of enquiries. If you could give me answers to the following questions it would be great: 1: What's your instant reaction? 2: What do you like & don't like about the layout? 3: Is the site easy to navigate? 4: What do you think of the FREE sessions & FREE newsletter? 4: What would encourage you to delve deeper into the site? 5: What would you like to see in the site? 5: What would persuade you to contact me if you were looking for a coach..? I am also looking for reciprocal links where I give a link to your website and you have a link to mine which has the effect of pushing both of us up the search engines. Just let me know.
Book Recommendation
Ask and it is Given by Esther and Jerry Hicks
I went to see Wayne Dyer speak in September and he recommended this book saying that in his opinion that it was one of the most important books ever written. I read it and I feel it may well be one of the most important books I've ever read. That's because it not only gives an explanation of how The Law of Attraction works, but also how to use the Law to produce results we want. There are practical exercises to use on a regular or 'as and when' basis that make a lot of sense to me.
If you are not producing the results you want at present or if you are and you want to know why you are and how to continue, get this book and read it soon. To buy the book click here
