My

Health has been an issue for me this month. I'll spare you the details, not because I don't want to be open with you, but because it's not very pleasant and it involves a word I cannot spell! I have also had some root canal work done on two different teeth, which has involved a certain level of discomfort/pain. Indeed the pain was quite debilitating for a while.
However, I
also had an
awareness of
this being an
unusual event,
and an
appreciation of
my general state
of health.
I have been working with a personal trainer since the beginning of the year and have noticed an improvement in my fitness and my energy levels. I find that it's easy to merge health and fitness into one area, and although they are related, they are separate issues. I find quite often clients may respond to questions about their health with 'I could be fitter'. Fitness is a component of health, but not the whole story.
Many people consider health to be the absence of illness. Which is a shame because it's so limiting. Vibrant good health is the natural state of our bodies, brimming with energy, enthusiasm and lightness. In recent times I have become more aware of feeling this level of health, and I have to say it's a wonderful feeling. It doesn't require an absence of illness, which was news to me, and very welcome and interesting to note too! An acceptance of the current reality and a determination to improve it, while at the same time having the awareness of life pulsating through my body. Rather than fighting the life force running through me, or doing stuff that reduced it like eating foods that took energy rather than increased it, or exhausting it, or being too sedentary, I find myself eating only fresh healthy foods, drinking plenty of water, being active, and really enjoying feeling so well.
I commend it
to you!
My
News
Due to a
problem at the
venue, the
Public Speaking
Masterclass has
been moved back
to run in March
and April. The
course will
consist of 6
Monday evenings
where each
person will get
the opportunity
to improve their
speaking by
understanding
better the
unique reactions
we have to
speaking in
public and how
other people
perceive us.
Using video you
will see any
differences
between how you
think you come
across and the
reality of what
your audience
receives. There
are a couple of
places still
available so if
you know someone
who would
benefit from an
improvement in
their public
speaking email
me back for all
the details.

My personal trainer is a lovely guy called Gideon Josephs and he is entering the London Marathon in order to raise money for charity. If you're thinking that's no big deal for a personal trainer, you may be right, but Gideon is more a sprinter than a runner, so believe me, it's not going to be a walk in the park for him. Take a look at Gideon's web page for donating, even if you cannot give. In the words that he writes, you can see the goodness of the man shining through. To understand what he's written you need to know he married Nicole last year. The site is

Book Recommendation
Over the last few weeks I've been reading for pleasure rather than for personal development (which makes a change!) so I haven't got something new to share with you. However I have a list of 63 fantastic books which are in my book The
Easiest Way to
Double Your
Profits which I haven't mentioned for a while! For more info on the book
